Will HostSG help me to transfer my domains?
If your domain name was registered through Network Solutions or Register.com, HostSG will send the transfer request. You will then receive an email asking if you wish to have your domain name transferred. HostSG will also detect if your site was not registered with Network Solutions or Register.com and will send you an email explaining what you have to do to transfer your domain name. We will assist you until your domain is transfer successfully.
Will I see any downtime if I get my domain transferred?
No, you will not see any downtime. Domain transfers usually take a couple of days to complete. While some end users may be visiting your site at its new location, others may still be receiving old information and are being routed to your previous host. During this time, it is best to stay with your old hosting provider until the domain has been properly transferred and is pointing to HostSG's servers.
What if I want to buy a site but don't want to transfer my domain?
You do not have to transfer your domain. When you order the site, choose "No" when it asks you whether you wish for HostSG to take care of your domain name registration. You may then transfer your domain name at any time.
Is there any charges for transferring my domain?
There is absolutely no charges or transfer fee for transferring your existing domain name to HostSG.
How long does it takes to setup my account?
HostSG can setup the account within 2 hours prior to receiving payment.
Do you have a demo account which I can try first before making up my mind?
Trial account can be provided on Budget Hosting, Business Hosting or Business Email Hosting. We do need you to signup with us before we can let you try our services as we need official contacts in case something goes wrong.

I wish to try out one of your lighter packages first. Is it possible for me to upgrade later on? What are the charges involved?
You are free to upgrade your plan anytime during your stay with us. There are no additional charges for your change of plan. If you are upgrading your plan with us, you just have to pay for the pro-rated usage of the new plan till the end of the month. If you are downgrading your plan, there will be a one time S$20.00 administrative fee.
Does HostSG provide web design services?
Yes, you may access our web design section to find out more about our portfolio or you may be interested in our All-In-One Business Solution which combines, web hosting, web design, email and web marketing for an affordable price.
I don't need those email accounts, can I convert the email space to web space instead?
As all of our web hosting plan features are bundled for value pricing, it is not possible to convert email space to web space.
Do HostSG provide any phone support?
Phone Support is provided for Business Hosting, On-Demand Hosting, Business Email Hosting, VPS Hosting and Managed Hosting. Budget Hosting do not come with phone support. Our online ticketing system is monitored 24/7 for all support queries, so rest assured you receive highly responsive support with HostSG.
Can I upgrade my hosting plan any time?
Customers are allowed to to upgrade their hosting plan at any time.
What sort of payment do HostSG accept?
HostSG accept the following payments: cash/money order , cheque, check, local bank fund transfer (DBS and POSB), credit card via Paypal.
